California is hard up on cash, and using DMV to make us pay!

This is the email I had to send to vip@dmv.ca. Gov 02/18.
Apparently, your email reps are a bit busy. I just got slammed with a notice of suspension and reinstatement fee. Please search your records. I emailed a copy of my proof of insurance on 01/16. Please review your records and remove the suspended status of my registration, as well as the fee incurred. I understand the State is hard up on money, but so am I. I also sent the information below to this very email on 01/29 with the attached document with my renewal notice and a copy of my check that I sent. I have since received the check back along with a letter stating that the info was not provided. I now am going to incur a $26 insufficient funds fee, as well as a $25 returned check fee. This is on top of the $311 renewal fee. I am hoping none of this reflects negatively on my record, as, I have done everything asked of me. Please give this to whatever higher power you have to get this resolved immediately, as, I would be very upset if I got pulled over for expired tags, after everything I have already done for you.
