Fulton IT Fulton County leadership in technology engaged in unfair practices against small business and minorities

Small businesses have been abused and misused when dealing with Fulton County Technology services. The leadership has unfairly canceled contracts, abused and forced small vendors to accept payments below normal price to cause them to fail, and forced many business owners - mainly small, or minority businesses to provide services without a contract.in many cases, they are forced to set their prices below $50,000 to allow the department head the ability to circumvent the County purchasing process and summarily refuse to pay invoices when due, citing no contract.

There are several insiders that have reported that the head of Fulton County Technology has because of a personal agenda crippled several minority businesses and women businesses in the past 18 months. He forces vendors to produce goods and services without a contract and then abuses the fact that no contract exists by failing to pay vendors when payment is requested.

Insiders who are directly involved with inside information have also reported that this department head also wishes to funnel County funds to businesses in which he has personal relationships. One instance involves a family member. As of this report, they have canceled at least three services without cause and without payment, and is facing litigation from one company because of this. This department head has already started the process of funneling business to his family member's company. Purchases of equipment have been made, and employees have already been hired.

Further evidence and intercepted emails suggests that the unethical behavior is limited to the department and this department head - with others on his staff cooperating out of fear.

This department head is also a finalist for CIO of the year in Georgia. Citizens are encouraged to contact The Georgia CIO Leadership Association to inform them of these practices underway and the abuse and fear going on.

Citizens are asked to contact the County Commissioners and demand a full investigation to bring this to an end. There are dozens of insiders that are willing to testify to this if the Board looks into this and assures that they will not be retaliated against for helping blow the whistle.

Citizens can also demand "Open Records" requiring the County to disclose all electronic communications to the public to expose this corrupt behavior. This is Fulton County located in Atlanta, Georgia.
