Southern Refrigerated Transport is a horrible company - stay away from these scumbags!

I drove for SRT for 6 months. During that time, I got home on time once. They tried to get me to run with an overweight load and after I told them I wouldn't run with it, I got a call from Darla aka the Nasty Bitch from Hell who told me "you're making a mountain out of a molehill" and "you're creating problems for yourself." They had me come back to the Texarkana yard after I delivered a load in Dallas, TX and after sitting around all day on May 15th of this year, they called me in at 2:47pm and fired me. Eric Nelson told me "I know you're not happy working here and we're not happy with you." This company needs to be investigated by the DOT and put out of business. Everyone who works at this company is rude and they have absolutely no respect for drivers. It's just a matter of time, and hopefully it won't be long before they are out of business along with Covenant. Their equipment is very poorly maintained and their primary mode of keeping drivers is to have a constant revolving door. Darla also needs to be fired. When you try to contact anyone who works at SRT, they think they "resolve" the problem by hanging up on you. SRT believes they are above the law. Tony Smith should pull his head out of his ass and get a clue as far as what his scammy company is up to. For anyone who is thinking of going to work for these crooks, think again. Stay away from these scumbags! If you work for them, you'll be sorry.
