Waiting game or the run around

Well I am a new person to the OTR driving. I am looking for a career and love to drive, just never done it always had local jobs, went through school that i thought was a good school and it advertised that most company would reimburse my tuition. Well this first experience was horrible after school I was contacted by 10 major trucking companys i was pre approved by all so i started to research all of them everyone of them had some neg. And some pos. To them. I chose covenant because of the christian background that the company was founded on. So me and the recrutier talked she told me everything i needed for orentation, they bussed me to orentation in chattanooga tn, so far pretty good got into a room at their hotel and to say or describe the hotel its used and and pretty run down poor maintence but free just liked they told me, three meals a day just liked they told me (but i wouldnt feed that stuff to my dog) oreintation began Melanie was very nice, but then i should have realized someting was wrong when they hooked me up to a blood preasure machine and the cuff was so small she had to hold it on for it to read my bloodpreasure it was 184/92 now im 6'5 270 lbs so im no slouch and ive never had a blood preasure to read over 136/79 so they done it manuallydone it it read 130/88 which was alot closer so they passed me. Passed the agility and physical, and drug test, mvr came back just like i told them with one speeding ticket 20 mph over in personal vehicle first one in 10 years so still no problem they assign a trainer he calls me told me to be ready wednesday night thursday morning (this was tuesday night) do all the paper work still no problem wednesday comes arround pass the driving test and now i go through log book class i get up to date with that and hazmat class i get through that no problems about lunch trainer call me tells me he will be there in a little while we talk a few min just to get aquainted (weve never met) i retun back from lunch we get our comdata cards now. (our class started out with about 55 of us its wednesday its down to about 18 blood pressure problems, drug test, road test, background checks now it thinned down monday and tuesday with me already assigned a traineer i thought i was hired on WRONG! AFTER THREE DAYS OF JUMPING THROUGH HOOPS i was disquilified because of my speeding ticket that they new about from day 1. They told me they just changed the policy a month ago all speeding tickets have to be a year old but no one told me this until wednesday at 3pm. The safty guy had made arrangments that morning (i have a slip that he printed off and it told me the time) but still held me there untill 3pm told me last shuttle was at 5 for me to be onit. Well the bus station closed @4:30 and did not reopen until 8pm. Called my wife she borrowed a car from inlaws and was on the way to pick me up. I just want to let all the newbies this how they treat ya. Many other trainer still talk they told me they wouldnt hire becuse of student loan they dont want to repay it so watch out! The bad thing is all they had to tell me is they didnt want to honor the reinbursement and i wouldnt have complained i just wanted a shot at a career so know im at home and have to wait till another orientation comes up at another company
