Magistrate orlando - suf county family court support division magistrate capped abusive mans income, now kids will suffer

I am a mom of 2 kids, and had my abusive spouse removed from the home in January. I was a housewife, with no income, but safety was my main priority. I could not afford an attny, and I went to family court (I filed them myself) for child support and custody. Without an attny, I won sole legal/residential custody of my kids. I borrowed money to hire an attny for support, because Magisstrate Orlando refused to hear me without one. Despite the fact my ex makes over 150,000 on the books, she capped his income at 80,000. This means that my kids get 25% (standard percent 2 kids) of only 80,000, after FICA. I didnt go to welfare, i got 2 jobs to get by. I have no parents/grandparents to help. We were evicted from our home because my ex stopped paying the rent, but the Judgement only went on him, because he was the only source of income. That was a diffrent judge.
Magistrate Orlando ordered that my kids are fine living on 18,000 a year child support, and I was not credible because I leased a car, (I had no reliable transportation to get to my 2 jobs) and rented another house when we were evicted. (Catholic Charaties helped us get in)
This is outrageous. I went to family court for relief-immediate-spousal support and child support based on his actual income, not a cap on his income. She refused to hear any testimony or see any evidence proving our dire financial situation, then faulted me for not proving my case.
THERE SHOULD BE NO CAP ON INCOME. He was removed for violence, and threats against my teenaged daughter. This is the message the magistrate is sending to women like me - I did the right thing and went to work, didnt rely on welfare, and she faulted me for getting my kids on free lunch. My ex left the utilities in thousands of dollars in arrears so I went to HEAP to help keep my heat and lights on for my kids, she said I was "quite resourceful, therefore not credible". What was I supposed to do, go to a shelter? Live without power? I did what I had to to keep my kids housed, fed, and safe from him. I got punished for that.
The NY MAGISTRATE NEEDS TO REMOVE THE CAP ON INCOME. My children and I should not be financially strangled. He took our tax return money (12,000 including our stimulus payment) forged my signature and kept the money. My kids dont even have sneakers for school, and this Magistrate has the odacity to let him win? I objected, and I am hoping a judge will see my case and how horribly it was handled by Mag Orlando. I hope someone helps me, because I have no money to appeal her decision.
