Police Ticketing to fullfill a quota due to a dwindling economy

I was traveling up the 10fwy from downtown through San Gabriel in the carpool lane. I veered off to the left as to exit in the carpool exit for Santa Anita Ave. As I exited, I soon realize its a bus lane deadend zone. A highway patrol officer stopped me. Not even a warning and gave me a ticket for carpool violation even though there were 3 people in my car. The Signs in the carpool lane stated carpool bus lane. Its not so clearly marked as I made a mistake in exiting in the carpool bus lane. I explained to the officer, that I wanted to exit off Santa Anita ave, as some carpool exits to the left and he stated that they dont exit to the left. He almost didnt give me my ID and insurance paperwork. Well Ive driven down this path again, and noticed that there are quite a few exits to the left in the carpool lane.in fact there are entrances for the bus only, carpool ok lanes. I think LA should retrain their officers on what they can and cannot do, or get rid of the carpool lane.

Only a week later, I received yet another ticket, this time in front of my apartment. 430am for not having the license plate mounted to the front. Apparently you can fix this prob by showing a picture of your vehicle with the plate mounted to the front. This is insane, cause anyone can just dismount the back plates and remount them to the front and produce a photo.

Does the city police have nothing better to do than to walk up and down the street checking out every car for ticketing. The DMV issued me one license plate, so I shouldn't be held responsible considering I changed my plate from NC to CA.

Just because our economy is dwindling, doesnt mean the city should try and squeeze out every last penny from its citizens. People are moving out of CA, due to cost of living, lack of jobs and law enforcement. I just moved here, and already feel Ill be stuck here if this keeps up.

Im starting to believe in the rumor that a quota is being fulfilled as I notice more and more sirens and tickets appearing in my friends glove boxes all dated the end of the month.

I want to start a movement, activist, some sort or recognition an correction.

Their contact numbers on the ticket only state what you can do, but no immediate remedy other than paying the fine and moving on. Read more on complaints and you will find that 90% of wrongly ticketed citizens are fighting but losing even with evidence to counter the issuance.
