My son is in alabama going to college. The sheriff Dept. Continues to stop him at every turn. They used to tell him they were stoping him for broke windshield etc. But never give him a ticket for any thing, and always ask to search his truck. Which he always allowed without question. Well the last time they stopped him, 2 nights ago, they did not even give a reason. Just ask him hey whatcha doing tonight? Then ask to seach his truck. And he complied, no questions ask.

And people ask why the younger people have no respect for Law enforcement??? Dont get me wrong i have every respect for the HONEST, LAW ABIDING POLICE OFFICER... And would not have their job. But when you get young, inexperienced officers and put them on the road with out a veteran office then you give him a lot of authority therefore they can do what ever they want... Then you have other officers KNOWING what they are doing is wrong but they do not speak up because of this invisible BLUE LINE. To me that is wrong / a criminal offense when a officer knows another is in the wrong and does not report it...
