The door bell rang simultaneously with my first bite of dinner. I was so tired from working a near twelve hour day at our counties local animal shelter I almost didn't answer the door. Needless to say I was a bit vulnerable and tired.

A woman stranger was wiggling around holding papers in her hand. It was obvious that she needed to go to the bathroom right off the bat. During her sales dialogue she even apologized for doing the pee-pee dance, a clue, as an after thought that she was trying to get into the house.

Other than that, she was very nice and she convinced me to support education or whatever I don't even remember. But we laughed and carried on she was able to break my resistance despite having a bowl of pasta in my hand.in hind sight, a decent person would have said I'll come back at a later date when you are not eating!

Unfortunately, I bought two magazines but on the up side I did not let her into my home. I found this website because I discovered my sales ticket-forgotten in the junk drawer.

Curious about the status of my now 120 a day ago order I discovered Worldwide Readers Service, INC. Miami's phone is out of order, website is down, and then I see the scam article online about how they get into your house and steal.

Am I embarrassed I fell for this? Yes, but grateful to have this opportunity to voice this experience and maybe catch these people. It is not about the one hundred dollars. It is about how wrong it is to look into peoples' eyes and lie.

You know what's sad? I am even willing to give her, Marqisha, the benefit of the doubt. After all, she did write God Bless You on the sales ticket.

Perhaps she herself was manipulated into the job unknowingly by a deceptive boss. Good luck with your education Marqisha, and bettering your life.

Yeah right! I am taking my complaint to the Police Department along with an electronic copy of my cashed check, printed page from the website regarding the scam and my sales receipt.
