A bad bad bad place to be right now! Floods floods and more floods we need moses ripoff

I have been a resident of The Paddock Club Apts. For nearly 4 years now and while I am pretty pleased overall with my time here, I must say that we have had some serious issues with flooding in our apartment. Over the 4 years that we have been here, we have had to call maint. 7 times regarding issues with the air conditioner backing up and flooding.

The most recent call to the apartment office was 05/30 which resulted first in one of the maint. Crew coming out and saying that nothing was wrong with the AC. Today the lead maint. Tech Francisco come out and said that because the apt. Upstairs and us run the Air at the same time, that it caused a severe back up which caused the AC to flood (which flooded both bedrooms, the bathroom, and in the hall, all the way in the livingroom).

I have taken pictures of the last few incidents this last which is not the worst. Last year we had a flood which left the floor almost an inch deep in water. I am really getting sick of dealing with this every 5 or 6 months. While I do believe that Francisco is very knowledgable and I know he is very friendly, I don't believe that this problem has ever been properly taken care of. It seems as if the apt. Complex keeps giving us a quick fix until the next time this problem occurs. Right now we have had carpet cut out of one of the bedrooms and it has been ripped up and laid back down in several other rooms of the apt.including the hall.

I am very upset about this and I feel that The Paddock club should do something about all of the trouble that we have had to put ourselves through over the years. I honestly believe that there is a serious issue with the piping which causes back ups. We have had several in which maint. Wasn't called because they didn't get to severe.

Right now I feel that we are living in an apt. That isn't up to standards. We have industrial fans blowing all night to dry out this sour smelling carpet. I am not happy and I am ready to take this thing all the way to court if need be. I think the Paddock club should let us out of our lease or either provide a different apt and fix this problem. One way or another something needs to be done.
