Company is illegally bolstering damage claims on ratty apartment

The Sunshine Corporation of Memphis TN, and possibly other cities in other states, is unfoundedly assessing damages to their apartment complexes. I recently lived in an apartment complex owned by the aforementioned company.

I will admtit I was evicted. But, 3 months later I was sent a bill from a collection agency stating I owed them $4000.00 for damages that they had seen. I was not sent an assessment nor was I contacted about making a payment or paying the entire sum.

They are conducting illegal assessments and collecting huge amounts of money for making false claims of damages. I have contact the BBB as well as the ACLU about conducting some sort of investigation. Keep you posted!
