Hood Villiage Apartments, Gloria: Manager And Area Manager fraudulent charges, unknown until AFTER a collection agency sent a lette

Fraudulent charges, that were not only unknown until AFTER a Oregon Credit Systems (apparently a collection agency!) sent a letter of collection for $753.94, plus will charge Massive amounts of Interest as time has passed and is passing! History: Moving into this Apartment Complex to exactly what money was able to be paid from pay check to pay check.

After residency was approched by Gloria THE Mananger, whom was extremely friendly (at first) almost persuasive! Her goal was to hire an assisant, so she could have weekends off and help with paperwork and the minor pickup of the grounds, cleaning of the laundry rooms was also apart of the committment.in turn the rent on A apartment would be given. Gloria moved her new employee to another apartment, in which was in disrepair, in fact was very unsightly. Gloria explained that she and her maintence people would make it right, soon. There are many witnesses to viewing this and hearing her state that she would fix and mend the apartment.

Getting closer to her employee, as a mentor and a friend, at first. Gloria even expressed her personal problems and family issues, divorce and so on to her employee.

As a short time went on, Area Managers would come to do inspections, which is quite normal I am sure. Only that Gloria was allowing employee to do a few things that were not allowed, but not letting the employee know so, of course the employee was honest with the area Manager, and found that the disipline layed upon the employees shoulder! Fine as that might have been but then Gloria became like dr. Jekel and Mrs Hyde... One time extremely friendly, even invitations to her apartment to chit chat! Then the next day (especially when the area manager was to arrive or just had left) she became a monster! She then started writing redicules letters about things that were really none of her business, or actually made up acusations!

It became unbearable as gloria never had the apartment she had her employee move into repaired or mended as she had stated. She started to constantly blame her employee for her errors. Gloria actually told her area Manager all the errors were the employees fault when she had NOT even taken the time to train the employee on many of the areas that were of concern!

The employee became unhappy and confused all at the same time!

Then others started talking. Some were tenants and a past employee. WOW what a shock, the past employee was concered because she received a letter for hundreds of dollars for the repair of an apartment that she did not harm, it was a unfinished remodel job when she moved in while she was assistant to Gloria! The present employee thought no. No. I dont think Gloria would do that. I know she is a bit tilted these days but... Would she?

The Present employee after several months of living in an apartment of disrepair and extremely ugly walls and carpet etc. Decided to give notice that he would no longer hold the position.

Firstly the employee was going to ask to move from the getto hole he had been given, to a nicer apartment, that was completed. But, once he had given notice Gloria was really a mess! She first would walk up to the employee with a huge smile, but it looked more wicked than friendly. It was like she changed right before our very eyes.

The Now EX employee decided to move from the complex all together. What a relief!

Now it has been almost a year, have not heard or seen Gloria or her company since. No written correspondence or phone calls, NOT ONE! Untill collections letter comes in the mail Yesterday.

She wants the EX Employee to pay for all her remodel and repair jobs, apparently as the apartment was not even enough pay for the hell this employee and others from what I understand!

Beware this Apartment Complex Hood Village in Gresham Or, as The may be scaming and adding fraudulent charges not only to past employees but tentants that are moving out of there!

Also, I personally have been there hundreds of times and many of their hispanics are predidece of other nationalities and gays! We dont feel Gloria is but, many comments were made that I myself was standing in the parking lot and heard with my own ears.

The Moral of all this is beware of scammers like Gloria, who not only would let others take her blame for errors but she put fraudulent monetary charges for her shotty apartments, so she can stay within her budget and TRY to make others pay for it! This shows upmost dishonesty in a persons nature and she should not be a manager of anything. And if her area manager is enept at seeing such a damaged personality, it may be because she has one as well.
