I am writing in behalf of my elderly mother Emily Thompson. I have filed a complaint with you previously about this same situation. Back in July, August and part of September she was not getting her newspaper, maybe just one here and there. She is 87yrs old and has subscribed to this newspaper for 40-50 yrs. Being elderly there isn't much she can do, but depends on this newspaper daily to read and work the crossword in the features. I went out to get her a paper and take it to her everyday she did not recieve one, now it is starting all over again.

I am hearing complaints from several people in our area about not receiving their newspapers also. When you call to report this, they just tell you they will credit her account and let the carrier know. So far this has not helped. Please help us in any way as I cannot go out in snow and ice to pick up a paper for my mother and take it miles to her. Courier Journal needs to hire more responsible carriers.
