SD card reading error & restarting for no apparent reason - Samsung stratosphere cell phone

One day all of a sudden my phone stopped working. It said that there's was no SD card inserted. So i took it to Verizon and i got a refurbished replacement. Now, the same type of phone but physically not the same phone, about 3-4 months later is messing up again. It restarts all the time, without warning. And it often doesn't take pictures or will distort the pictures after they are taken. And it rarely is able to connect to internet or do anything online without wifi connection. Obviously this type of phone is junk. I went to verizon willing to buy a new phone, just wanting to have some sort of compensation for the shitty phone and issues beyond my control. All they offered to do was buy it from me for $24. Or give me yet another refurbished replacement.
