Hi,
I am from Sydney, Australia.
This scammers tried to rip off my old mother in law. Their telephonist was very rude to her so I decided to investigate.
They called and I answered. Basically he said that out computer was providing error messages. He wanted my license number. I refused. Thrn he told me I would have my internet disconnected and my "license" terminated.

Well, bullshit. He went on and on about it. But I am an telecommunication technician with IT Background. So I knew that what he was talking (Inappropriate Content Removed).

Basically, I said I wanted his abn (australian bussiness number for registered australian businessess) he did not give to me and at all the time in the conversation the telephonist was extremelly vague.

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about this scammer apart from reporting on the internet.
