You will get through directly.in the process of cancelling you will be offered a discount on the amount charged of 25% and then 35%. I have had no problems cancelling although they do try to keep you on the phone encouraging you to accept a free gift which, if you agree, could eventually lead you into parting with £49.99 unless you cancel that subscription too.
