Miscellaneous

I had a Trojan in my computer and I was looking for free software to remove it. I know that finding 'really' free software would probably not happen, but I thought I would give it a try. Sometimes there will be some because the companies give out a small piece of their product for good will. This has a good affect because if you surf the net, you will need their services again and there is a good chance you will return and buy.

I found a company that said their software to remove a Trojan called Alureon is ABSOLUTELY FREE! I thought maybe this could be true, and what the heck, I can always void the download and remove their software if it is not. Well, it was not true which is my complaint.

This type of deception is mostly common on the internet. They lie to get you to the pay portion without an escape button. You have to control/alt/delete them off the screen, and then use the tools to remove their software. This time they took over my homepage and search engine.

This illegal activity is expected, but should not be happening at the level that it is. I managed to get truly free software by going to Wikipedia who had a link on their site to a free program. Oh yeah, and Microsoft (whose product I have), their fix does not fix anything despite 5 hours of trying it THEIR WAY... Grrrrrrrr.
