Miscellaneous

After paying for the software using PayPal, the download page came up with instructions to call a phone number to verify the product code. A guy from India answered and had me log into LogMeIn.com and took control of my computer. I had him stop and shut my computer down. I restarted and the software is useless.
I was conderned that the software may have contained a possible keystroke logger so I tried to remove it with add/remove programs from my control panel. I couldn't do it from there so I rebooted in safe mode with networking and go all the traces of the PC cleaner out (hopefully) and rebooted.
This software is a scam and a possible trojan.
