Poor quality control in frozen broccoli

I purchased a yellow no name bag of frozen broccoli and cauliflower, cooked it up and have spent the last ten minutes picking the pieces of woody stalk out of my mouth because they are impossible to chew and a choking hazard. Thank goodness I did not feed this to little children. Horrible quality control, I'm terribly disappointed.
