I just checked my credit card charges and found a $39.95 charge from thorsupport.com. I contacted them and was told they offer support to many merchants. After a short discussion they told me the merchant who put through the charge was lifestyledealsnow.com and that they had taken over a business where I had a contract for a subscription. The subscription/contract was some time ago but was being renewed, hence the charge. I have no recollection of any such contract or subscription and told them so. They said they would cancel the subscription but couldn't reverse the charge. However, when I said I was going to have my credit card company investigate, they agreed to refund my money within 7-10 days. My credit card company told me if the funds are not returned within that time period they will commence and investigation. I notice that most of the complaints are from the US. I'm thinking that I was in Vegas in October and used my card there. Probably someone got the information then.
