Calvert Apartments ripoff / phony security system / redecorating eliminated the party room

The Calvert Apartments are obsolete and badly managed. The apartment building recently touted a redecorating project which is merely cosmetic Residents primary concerns are that the rents were increased but the security system remains non functional and the party room is now closed. I rented the apartment because it appeared to have video cameras, a phone pad at the entrance, a police substation and a party room. The video cameras do not work, the phones at the entrances do not work, the police substation is non functional, a resident was found dead in the parking lot and the managment sent notices to all tenants telling us that "the property did not bear any liabilities" This was considered about as cold and inhumane as anything anyone has ever seen. I expected that the management might say that sympathy cards could be left in the office. We experience continued water outages and electrical outages, the elevators remain broken, the bar in the building has an often rowdy clientelle. This is one of the worst buildings for the money in the city. Elderly residents are treated disrespectfully. The laundry rooms have many broken machines. There is no storage, although I was told storage facilities were available.
