Company sent an unauthorized check through my account. I contacted my bank and the representative stated she deals with this company everyday with customers and that they can charge and application fee. I said I didn't get a loan, about a month ago I looked into installment loans but I didn't accept anything and I was told that is the same thing, the company can charge an application fee. I stated there was never a notice of an application fee. My bank is filing a dispute against the charge but said since I gave my information it can not be considered fraud. I do believe I will follow the lead of others and contact my Attorney General's office in my state.
