This is a scammer who contacts sellers of high end merchandise on Craig's List. He says that he sent the money an additional $750 for the shipper to your Paypal account. He then says that the shipper will want a check for $750 when he arrives to pick it up.

Its hard to believe that anyone would believe that he has paid Paypal without looking and verifying first. I did and so I didn't lose the money - just the sale - but it wasn't really a sale anyway!
