Miscellaneous

We purchased a over the stove Microwave on December 21, delivery date January 11.

August 9 I made a call for warranty purposes as I thought. The repairman made a visit on August 17. He had not seen this issue before, so I asked him to take pictures and send them off. I was told I would hear back in one week..

I finally waited until October 9 I called and was told that someone would get back to me the next day. October 10 as It was not fixable., never happened. On October 29 was told it was not fixable and that there was a buyout plan and someone else would call me.

Since the initial call in August, the microwave arced several times and during the week of October 15-19 the glass inside of the
door, developed what appears to be melted white plastic, that looks like drip stains. We had continued to use it was worked well heating items. We were never told of any dangers.

On October 31 I did receive a call from a Simone at 1-800-469-4663 / 1-416-747-4754. The buyout offer was half the amount we paid and she informed me warrenty is only for if you can fix it..

We are convinced that this is a defect and should be dealt with in the proper manner. There is always a first with defects, and I cannot find anything on the web to match my serial number 746MM03085 or model number 59285600-0.
