RIPOFF Conflict Of Interest Unethical Deals Secret Meetings Hidden Agenda Serves the Developers and not the Tax-payers

I am writing in regards to our County Mayor Mrs. Beverley Woodruff. It's not enough that Woodruff totally renovated her office and bought an Eddie Bower Edition Bronco on the taxpayer's dime, now she is engaged in on of the most underhanded political scandals that I have seen.

Beverley Woodruff obviously has made some secret deals with the land developers in our area. Our planning commision consists of mostly developers that Beverley has appointed. If that's not a CONFLICT OF INTEREST then I don't understand what is.

She has consistently let us down as taxpayers. The planning commission ignores and changes its own regulations in order to accomadate the developers. She must have a lot of friends in real estate and financing.

She has most recently decided to kick a few people off the planning commission who aren't in development businesses. She wants to replace them with real estate people and builders. She has truly lost her mind.

Here's just a few reasons why she should step down:

1) The planning commision's continual inclusion of people involved in real estate and development is the primary reason Blount County has experienced unrestrained, disorganized conversion of open space into tax-draining subdivisions and pavement.

2) Mayor Woodruff has proven by past actions that she is more concerned about moving forward the agendas of mountainside developers like Rick Rigsby than she is concerned about the desires of the citizens of Blount County.

3) Mayor Woodruff could care less about our quality of life as long as she gets a few kick-backs along the way.

4) Mayor Woodruff has brought no real industry to our area.

5) Mayor Woodruff has been suffering from Parkinson's Disease for some time now, and it is clear to me that this disease has affected her ability to know right from wrong. Anybody that would hold secret meetings ought to be run out on a rail.

I'm starting to question our local Republican politicians like Woodruff. Isn't it enough that Sundquist tried his best to destroy Townsend and farmland in Wildwood? Isn't it enough that Mike Flynn has such a poor sense of justice? I think we've had ENOUGH of these crooked Republican politicians. I've been a life long republican, but I am truly ashamed of these individuals which I have mentioned. Something needs to be done. It is time that Beverley Woodruff should step down from her position so that we could get someone who is honest.

It wasn't too long ago, that Avery Mills got what was coming to him. DON'T YOU EVER FORGET THAT BEVERLEY!
