Do not buy from this company!
On Sept 11 I ordered the introductory bottles of LipoSlim and of Natural Cleanse, as advertised on the Internet. I was immediately billed the price of "mailing" as disclosed in the ad, $4.95 each. The product arrived four days later.
I was supposed to cancel within 14 days of my initial order. On Day 11 (Sept 22) I called to cancel, and when I stated my desire, I was given an "extension" until Sept 30. At that point I would have a "membership" and would receive monthly billings for more product. I failed to call on Sept 30.
The receipt I received with the two bottles (one of LipoSlim and one of Natural Cleanse) reads, in part, as follows: "Every 30 days a new supply will be sent and you will be charged the Exclusive Monthly Membership of $79.95."
NOWHERE does it state that there is a DOUBLE charge of $79.95. The implication instead is that $79.95 is the cost of the TWO products.
On Sept 30 I was billed TWICE: Once in the amount of $79.98 and once in the amount of $79.99 (total $159.97). This was in addition to the $4.95 (total $9.90) I was billed for TWICE on Sep 11. I recieved no additional product for the $159.97, so on Oct 23 I called to ask where the product was. At this point I was informed that the $159.97 (note, not the "$79.95" or $159.90 that was quoted) was for the INTRODUCTORY BOTTLES ONLY. There is no additional product coming, unless I want to pay nearly $160 each month. I would have to pay ANOTHER $160 to get ANY additional product.
Does the product work? In a twisted way, yes. I had many runny bowel movements each day, and yes, I did lose some weight. It was not a healthy way to lose weight. But that's not my complaint. I feel this company did everything in its power to deceive me and to rip me off.
They have a great scam going: Send an introductory bottle of product (s) for $4.95/bottle, deceive people, bill their credit cards for nearly $160 — and even if the customer calls to cancel when they figure it out (as I did), they still get the $170 (the "mailing cost" plus the "product cost"). This company is getting rich by providing little or no product.
