Ripoff from worst rental office eve

They never respond to complaints. They never leave notices when they enter the apartment. They claim not to be able to give contact information about the owner/landlord. I thought that was against the law! I've complained for the past 5 months about needed maintenance. After living in the same apartment for almost 8 years there has been no offer to repaint the apt. Or to clean the carpeting. The kitchen floor has been under repair since July and its still not finished.

It had to be replaced because the hot water heater began leaking and ruined the tile on the floor. The office personnel (a manager and receptionist) are extremely unresponsive.in the 8 years since I've been here, ownership has changed at least 3 times and the property has deteriorated more with each new owner. But none have failed to increase the rent. The ceiling in my laundry room/pantry/storage area has leaked 3-4 times and no repairs or painting have been done. I'm afraid of mold or anything that could possibly be cancer-causing since I've already had a bout with cancer since being a tenant here. As a matter of fact, so has the tenant over top of me. The tenant that used to live under me died from cancer. Coincidental, huh? This happened 5 years ago.
