I got a text message from (951) 965-1861 that read

"Your entry last month has WON! Go to BestBuyContest.com and enter your winning code 7238 to claim your FREE $1000 BestBuy gift card within 24hrs."

When I went to enter the information, they prompted me almost immediately to enter my first and last names, phone, e-mail, birthday, address, and some other personal information. This made me think it might be a phishing scam, so I called Best Buy who confirmed it was. My daughter also got this same text message on her phone.
