I just learned that my T-Mobile bills have been rising because of unauthorized charges billed by T-Mobile on behalf of Shaboom Media. T-Mobile claims that it can block Shaboom Media, but that it cannot refund Shaboom charges. I responded that, since T-Mobile is acting as a collection agent for Shaboom, it most certainly can. If T-Mobile's fails to refund unauthorized fees that IT collected on behalf of Shaboom, it's complicit in the fraud since it has effectively ratified Shaboom's misconduct.in other words, T-Mobile cannot accept payments on behalf of a "third party company" (effectively acting as its agent), then decline to refund payments to that same third party. I'll let you know what happens!
