The Salter School
Very unprofessional school, trying to teach professionalism!

Just to begin, I wanted to further my education at 51 yo for the first time in my life. Unfortunatly I chose the Salter School for a course in Health Claims. Not only were we taught by unprofessional, unskilled teachers... We had ppl that never taught before teaching things they knew nothing about!
There are so many different complaints just in the few classes that I attended with the 23 individuals in my course. None of us yet have received our certification of just attending the school. I have been out since May and called, emailed and faxed my requests over to them for my certification. Never to receive an answer from them. I personnally don't want to back to the school. I may not know anyone there. Everytime we looked up there was new staff!!!
One of our first teachers was a nice woman but, was too into her private business on the phone all the time. One of the rules of the school. NO CELL PHONES, "it shows unprofessionalism"! Another, was too into her bad health to helped those who needed her help. Called one of my classmates, "a hot mess"! No one in my class and the class before us had a good experience.
I feel like they just signed us on to get money... Truely feel that. Taking advantage of the welfare system, considering alot of the girls were in the "system. Unlike myself single mom, raised 3 boys, sent them all through college and trued to do something for myself. It was truly one of the most dissappointing experiences in my life and I feel as if I don't owe them a dime! They can't even give us our certifications and scrambled to try to get extern-ships for everyone the week before classes were over. This was one of the criteria of the school to help place in an extern-ship. Out of the 23 of us I think 15 finished the course. The ones that left read the school before the rest of us did. We found out the hard way.By finishing up with absolutely no good results!

Please help us come to some resolution of satisfaction from our horrible experiences with The Salter School!
