Hotel voucher date confirmed then unavailable, no reimbursement

I ordered a hotel voucher online from groupon. It gave the dates listed for the service. I called the 1866 number to confirm the date was available and their customer service confirmed the date. I made the reservation online after I confirmed the date was good. I called the number to reserve the day and they said it was unavailable. I had already cancelled a reservation to get this deal, and they would not reimburse me. The Crowne Plaza hotel also did not offer the mistak made by groupon
