I sent paperwork for a $50.00 rebate when I switched to Time Warner Cable in March. I recently got a "Redemption Certificate" requesting a Money Order or Cashier's Check for $10.99 (shipping and handling) in order for them to send me a Visa or Walmart Gift Card. To me a $10.99 charge to send a gift card is a scam. They also say a "personal check will not be accepted".
