Ann Eastepp is a CAO at a law firm specializing in Real Estate law. She is a property owner in Arizona, but does not file required information with the county assessor to register her rental property thereby avoiding her duty to pay appropriate taxes and depriving citizens of the community in which her property (s) are located. She demanded that we move out immediately upon discovery of my 8 year old residing at our home. Since then, we have not been willing to move until our oral lease expiration date of 10/31. This has caused retaliatory actions depriving us of air conditioning in 115 degree weather for almost 3 weeks, failure to bring the installation of the 50 gallon water heater up to code, refusal to service the refrigerator which doesn't get colder than 63 degrees, (causing premature spoiling of groceries exceeding $900 for a 6 mo. Period (or longer). Harrassment in the form of threatening emails have caused us great concern and worrym and because of her failure to register this rental property with the assessor there is no agent with a local address for us to refer our many complaints to. This abuse of power, malicious abuse of process in our legal system, and arrogance beyond reason has caused much distress and financial strain to the point of criminal negligence. I want some accountability by these wealthy, elite slum lords. I want this to never be able to happen to an unsuspecting family again. Thank you for any suggestions. I hope I have saved at least one person from falling into the clutches of Ann Adcock Eastepp.
