Have healthcover, as a private patient, but because the procedure was done at the surgeons recommendation in Mt Carmel hosp, instead of St Vincents, exact same cost, exact same surgeon and his fee also ths same.
They have refused to pay one penny.

I had no idea this could happen.
On visit to surgeon for initial consultation,
I brought along my healthcare membership card, details etc.
3 weeks later arrived at 8am fasting for day surgery,
was told sorry, your healthcare dosent cover here,
I burst into tears as did family member with me.
Kind lady, said look this needs to be done, you are worried. We will accept payment later, wy dont you talk to your provide
