Airbnb is claiming that we owe the host $2055 for damages and loss of goods in the apt. The people at Airbnb never bothered to talk to any of the 4 guests before making their "final decision" to have the guests pay $2055- which they have begun to charge my credit card - despite my numerous emails telling them, I do not give them authorization to do so.
The allegations against the 4 guests are outrageous - missing items, damaged items, many complaints that were later retracted, with absolutely no reason given. It's unconscionable for Airbnb to treat guests like this and their unfounded allegations are nothing short of conjecture and
fraud.
