Starting 7/3 I tried to log onto Facebook like I do every day. I got the message that I had viruses/malware and couldn't get back on till I took care of this. I called FB, was transferred to what I thought was AVG. I was sold AVG software for $200 and for an additional $100 I was covered for 2 yrs and had personal tech person. I bought this. After a few days, I got the message I had an illegal version of AVG and would need to purchase the legal one. I looked up an 800 number and spent another $100 for the AVG software. After a few days I kept getting the message my coverage would expire in 29 days, 28days etc. They sold me a free 30-day trail version for $100. I finally got another AVG representative and they sold me for $84.99 AVG software that was suppose to be covered for a year. Today my AVG is not letting me scan my computer or update. I am in the process of uninstalling AVG from my computer. I am still going to have to purchase security from another software company. I forgot to mention that each time I allowed the representative to take control of my computer and was installed remotely.By this time I am ready to scream at AVG and till don't have a working copy of software after spending $484.99. Today is 9/18/12
