Just purchased a 5KW solar system on grays online then discovered the installer cannot install this month and feed in tarriff going from 25c to only 8 c per KW. Plus I thought I would be able to order a meter for my new property being built to lock in to old tarriff, this was advised by another solar company.
The install of the actual unit cannot be installed for 6 - 9 months and grays online now indicate to me thatb there would be a charge to store it past 12 weeks this also was not stated in details of purchase.
I wrote to grays online asking to cancel the purchase and they refuse and just told me to read the conditions of there bidding which I did not understand as I thought it would be similar to ebay.
Could you please advise if I can do anything else to get out of this purchase?
