My partner took the afternoon off work to ensure admittance to the engineer to repair tv and sky fault.
The engineer neither arrived, not contacted any of my family (as several numbers were available) to inform us that they were not in fact coming. The appointment was scheduled between 13.00 hours and 18.00 hours. I was informed that if for any reason i did not keep this appointment i would be liable to incur a fee of £100 and indeed the call handler would not even give me an appointment with the engineer until i agreed to this stipulation. Therefore, as the engineer did not keep the appointment, or even try contacting myself, i believe the £100 should therefore be paid to mysely, as well as the loss of earnings incurred by my partner. Not to mention the several phone call i had to make in procuring the first and second appointment which is now scheduled for saturday morning. On discussing the issue with sky the advised me that the engineer could not find my address. However, they did admit the the details given to him were indeed the correct details and the correct address. The engineed also had my telephone number.
