Miscellaneous

A service representative by the name of Donnie visited our condo to repair our dryer. When he arrived he didn't know the difference between the washer and dryer and then did not know how to turn the dryer on. The dryer was not producing any hot air. When he tested it he stated that it was an electrical problem as there was not 240 voltage coming from our electrical outlet. He said we would have to get an electrician to check the outlet and wiring. We contacted an electrician who visited our home and checked the outlet stating it did in fact have proper voltage due to the fact that the building has an elevator it would only be 208 volts coming from the outlet.
The dryer repairman did not know what he was doing - we paid him $49.00 and then paid the electrician $49.50 which was an unnecessary expense as there was nothing wrong with the electrical outlet.
We contacted A Appliance on 9/7 and was told that the person who came out to do the work would contact us and that it would be his responsibility to reimburse us. As of the end of business today (9/11) we have not received a call.
