I received a call from an unknown number stating I had requested information online for grants. It just so happens that I had inquired recently into grant information for school which just started 2 wks ago. The strange part about the call was that I had applied for grants through FASFA & been denied until my old student loan was outta default. They stated that it was completely free & I only needed to provide $3.80 to set up an online account. I decided to do a quick search on my iphone while he was actually still on the line & right away, the web search pulled up multiple complaints against this company. I'm a single mom & student w / a very limited income. I was appalled that they would intentionally target people who were in need of financial assistance.
