They are trying to gain access and control your computer, and for you to provide your personal information.
The person on the line explained that my computer kept sending error messages to them and I was at risk of been hacked. I played the game. He asked me to follow his instructions as he was ready to tell me what I needed to do to allow them to fix this problem.
He started by "go to the Start Menu" I laugh, and I responded I have a Mac. He started to yell F. Off man, F. Off man... And hang up the line.
