Miscellaneous

We were approached by phone by a man calling himself Douglas Ford. He claimed to work for a company called Global Resort Acquisition in Las Vegas, NV. He offered to help us sell our Timeshare, The Fountains in Florida. Over the course of the last two months we have received numerous phone calls from him updating us on the progress. Then, on July 11, he asked for $2500 searching titles and other paperwork. More phone calls and updates. Then on August 29, he asked for a percentage of the closing costs, 36%, at $1954. On September 5, he called saying that 36% wasn't enough and he needed an additional $896. I used Google Earth to look up his office address and found it to be an empty building in disrepair with a "Space Available" sign. The address is (Personal Info Removed). I then used reverse directory to look up his phone number, (Personal Info Removed) and found it to be located in Searchlight, NV.
