Don't help the average citizen, act like the devils advocate for the criminal

We do have some good cops in town that try to have empathy for the middle class. But most of them take police reports for real crimes, with real evidence, and down play them so they don't have to arrest criminals. I have had the kids bike stolen, (we knew who did it.) Tires slashed, chain saw stolen. And worst of all tenents who had just trashed an apartment.

What was done about it? Nothing! Maybe it was donut time? The people had just moved out (a dozen people seen them leave including us) we went upstairs and found a closet full of used cat litter. Used cat litter was thrown out a window onto the roof, and dumped in the yard. The place smelled.

The cop said "this isn't vandalizm or criminal damage to property can you prove criminal intent" I said you don't have to have a PHD in detetive work to look at it and tell. We just evicted them for being deadbeats, came up and found this mess.

I bet if someone dumped used cat litter in his favorite stall at the donut shop, they would go straight to jail! It was the same cop who took the report on the stolen bike. The criminal who stole it was indentfied by his teacher. Did we ever see the bike again NO!

I got 2 $5 parking tickets for parking by the court house in a 15 minute parking space, (that at best was piss poorly posted) thats the kind of system we have here.
