Miscellaneous

I received an email from a friend with the link on it. I was sick, or I'd never have followed it. My brain was hazy! I joined up for $49, and then was told I needed a website to carry out the programme and could get a personally designed one (worth $3000) for much less. I paid $200, including 3 years of ownership for my domain name, and a hosting site, only to end up with a Wordpress account, which I always thought was a free one. I went away for the weekend and left the training site open in my browser so I could come back to it. Just as well, since others haven't been able to log in. I've been working my way through the training modules - they're all there, though one or two of the videos were blocked by my popup blocker, and slowly it dawned on me (I told you my brain was hazy) that it was a lot of complicated work, and that I would be paying still more to put the programme into action. Eventually I checked the source address of the email from my 'friend', and duh! It wasn't. Then I typed the name of the programme into Google, and here I am at Scambook. I still think I could probably follow the course instructions (assuming my computer doesn't crash and I don't lose the site), but I'd have to give up my real work and spend all day to make a few bucks. I feel really dumb to have been taken in.
