Good Afternoon, I stupidly followed a facebook link to Zinga, which asked if I wanted a free gift, I just needed to put in my credit card number for shipping. Next thing I know, I am being charged $100 US per month. When I called to opt out, they said I had to pay $68 NZ dollars to get out of the contract, otherwise I would be charged the full monthly amount. We are from Christchurch NZ, have lost our home in the Earthquake and generally had a pretty tough time. I guess I was just too trusting. To top it all off, I don't even get the free gift because I cancelled the 'platinum' membership. This is just the icing on the quake.
