I was headed out of town for 4 days to set up for Dave Mathews here in Washington State and on my way I geta phone call from "PI Joseph Parks" stating all my information, social, address, mothers name, birthdate ect. He says I have a loan I never paid from 7 years ago. I thought I had paid it but being as I was on the road I had no time to react or research anything. I told him I would call him back and he said "you cant call me back, its been 7 years and its time to get this taken care of". He said there will be a warrant for my arrest that afternoon if i didnt paid $900. I asked him if i could pay 500 and he said "I will put my authorization code and approve that for you" I think I was in such shock that my brain couldnt process all the red flags that I NOW see afterwards. A PI cannot lower the amount, I should of at least gotten some information via email or mail about this debt, and i NOW know I cannot go to jail for not paying a loan back because its a CIVAL matter not FEDERAL. One more thing is he told ME to CALL HIM back the first week of October after he gets all the paperwork processed for releasing me from this debt. Why the hell should I call him? Shouldnt he call me when hes done? AGHHH. I firmly believe I got scammed, my bank wont do anything, Ive canceled my card because of this asshole.
