Miscellaneous

This company sent an official looking document that leads you to believe you have won 2 million dollars or at the cusp of doing so. All you have to do is send them a required notification commission fee of $11.89! Then on the bottom in small print, it says no purchase necessary to win. It is made to look like it came from Publishers Clearing house. Look it over real well and there is barely a mention of who sent it, which is the company mentioned in my complaint. It is very decieving and a obvious scam! It makes me angry to think of all the people, myself included barely making it these days, sending that $11.89 they really didn't have or couldn't afford so this company can make millions off everyone who innocently was hoping to win. Pure scam and they need to be stopped. It is a dirty trick to pull when so many are suffering financially already. Thank goodness I got suspicious and checked on them before I sent my check off. I tore the check and phoney scam notification up, but I am keeping the pieces to remind me not to be suckered into something like this again.
Thank you if there is anything that can be done to stop them from this activity and people loosing their money to these cheats.
This document was sent solely to me and not my husband included. I don't even know how they got all the information they had about me in the first place to send it. Little scary too.
