I trusred my Tax returns for 2006 and 2007 to tht Tax Club. Early in I received notice from the Franchise Tax Board of California for additional money as the income I received in 2007 on the IRS fund was more that the income reported on the Calif tax fund.
I attempted tocontact the tax Club and they did not file an ammeded form with the IRS until after the three year window had passed. As a result of the Tax Club, s mistake, I over paid the IRS 5,200 dollars.
The only explanation as to how an accountant coul list different income on the California Franchise Tax form from tht IRS form was "people make mistakes"
