I was watching an infomercial for the Nuwave pic. The advertised price was $33.33 payments for 3 months plus shipping and processing. They also offer a BOGO free just add S&P. Free cookware was offered with the both PIC's. The invoice for the merchandise is 129.69 (I ordered the carrying cases for both) and the shipping and processing fees are $235.69. I was not told by the person on the phone that my credit card would be charged this much or I would have cancelled and waited for it to be offered in the stores. I feel as though I paid for both PIC's plus the cookware with this rip off.
Some of the merchandise was missing from my package. When I called the customer service number (twice) that was listed on the invoice I was routed to a voice mail machine and my call was returned two weeks later only after my credit card company froze the funds.
If I wanted to return one of the PIC's it would cost me even more money. The PIC works great and the cookware is good, however they fail to tell people on the infomercial that only the nuwave cookware will work on the cook top. I believe this company has been gauging on the shipping and processing fees.
