Miscellaneous

An individual named Bruce Walker phoned me and told me that he had a Mexican buyer for my Grandview Las Vegas time share. He referred me to his CEO of Premier Exchange Marketing named Steve Furbank. Furbank told me that I had to front Mexican federal taxes of $3808 to agent Lorena Herrera in Mexico by bank wire. I did it. I was supposed to receive a check for the price of the timeshare, $23,800 the tax refund via FedEx within 2 or 3 business days. No check ever came. I received another tax voucher saying that I also had to pay Mexican state taxes of $4089 to sell the timeshare. All of this would be refunded to me along with the timeshare money within 2-3 days. I did it, no truck w / check ever showed up. I got another phone call from Bruce Walker saying that there was a final fee of $1450 that had to do with some other local Mexican tax. I wired the money, and never heard from anyone from Premier Exchange Marketing again. Could not call anyone. Noone answered. This happened last November. I reported this scam to Houston Police Dept. & to the Texas state attorney general complaint division. The company was allegedly located at 490 Gears Rd Suite 190, Houston Texas 77067. The company drew up a contract and all for this sale.
