My stupidity advert on computer seen 07/06 sent for 024 site would not accept certain cards. Used Nationwide credit card. Nil delivered. Some weeks passed received phone call from AMERICAN gentleman asking me my name address regarding my order. I said not received anything.
Order delivered forgot to date the box senders signature & date 16/07.
For various reasons I did not use & then on husband who was suffering greatly from clipping parts of hedge with long loppers. It did not help tried for over week.
I received Credit card statement to-day 16/08 charged £9-99 on 10/07 024painrelief Haselemere. Then again 24/07. I had no further parcel
I was shocked. Found invoice in box ship date 07/09. No mention of ringing up after 14 days to say how suited.
I telephoned customer care and was told this is what I should of done. I said underhand selling and fraud. I was told would reemberse my credit card with £40-00. I said well you have charged me £49.98 for @ pkts. Towelettes and one 30ml bottle of spray, an absolute rip off..
I never saw terms & conditions when on website & cannot find it now.
One thing looking on computer found this site.
I see that I was not only one to fall for this scam.
